Jim Robinson is a songwriter, musician, singer, author, therapist, and speaker. His songs have been recorded by many artists including Restless Heart, John Michael Montgomery, McBride and the Ride, Neal McCoy, B.J. Thomas, and Asleep At The Wheel. In recent years, Jim has been blessed with a string of Contemporary Christian hits, including the #1 songs Be, Come And Fill This Place, and Because of Him, recorded by Al Denson, and Healer Of My Heart by the Grammy-winning vocal group The Martins. Several of his praise and worship compositions are now sung in choirs and choral groups throughout the nation.

Jim and wife Teresa are founders of ProdigalSong Ministries (www.ProdigalSong.com), which combines music, speaking, and educational workshop presentations to convey a message of hope and healing in churches, treatment centers, schools, and correctional facilities throughout the country. www.ProdigalSong.com

This summer, Jim's first novel will be published by Lion Hudson/Kregel. Midwest Book Review called Robinson’s first book, Prodigal Song: A Memoir, "…a moving and life-affirming portrayal, spiritually rewarding and reader inspiring." The Flower of Grass is his first novel. He lives in Tennessee with his wife and two children.

Hi Jim,

Your package arrived, and it came at the perfect time. I had a bad day and getting your book and CD, of which I listened to right away, cheered me up. Thank you so much. I will read the book after I am finished Tina Forkner's and will give it a plug! The book cover is beautiful and the CD, well Iove it! Wish you lived nearby. I'd invite you to the blues jamb that my husband plays in every Thursday night. He is an accomplished guitarist, and he is a luther...builds beautiful electric guitars.

Rita

Jim, your video is fabulous. Great song too. I'll be ordering a copy of your novel as soon as it's released. Just wondering, did you use YouTube software to make your video?

I think to send it to everyone you go to the bottom of the page and it lets you email. Or go to settings and do it that way (send an email directing people to your page.) Make sense?

Welcome back! It'll be a while on my book, probably early 2009. I'll let you know. I'd like to hear more about your book. What's it about? When will it be available?

Good! While both of you are up here, I want to wish you a very Happy Father's day. That also goes for all the Father's here. May your day be filled with God's blessings.
I'm looking forward to a nice BBQ with the kids this afternoon. I hope your day is just as pleasant.
PS: I'm also hoping for a Laker's win, but that seems like wishful thinking at this point.
Have a great day.

My novel, A Field of Lilies, is Christian Fiction and contains a little mystery, suspense, romance and so forth. The theme concerns the will of God and its many facets. Capstone Fiction is the publisher.
