Trying to get back in the groove

It's been a while since I posted anything anywhere! My life has been chaos. Not long after my mom healed from her broken hip, I had a fall of my own. I sprained my knee and broke two ribs. It was difficult to sit at the computer for a while. Next, my folks finally decided to sell their home and move to something smaller. Their house sold in two weeks, and then we began the search for a new house. In the midst of all this, my parents caregiver quit suddenly. Now, in the midst of a huge move, my folks have lived in this rambling ranch for 40 years, I'm struggling to get them packed and find a new caregiver. Whew! Now if there were only some way I could work this turmoil into a suspense novel.

The house is pretty much packed, the move is scheduled for the first weekend in October, and I'm trying to work in writing when I can. Hoping the trials will end and the move will be smooth. Looking forward to getting back in the writing groove.
