I'm back....
And I'm stunned. I'll never be the same again.
I certainly won't be the same writer.
Orson Scott Card is an AMAZING teacher. He pushed us to our limits and then pushed us even further. This workshop is definitely not for the feint of heart. So anyone considering subbing: good luck! But be ready for torture if you get in. LOL!
It was both a boost to my ego and a tearing down as well. I got great feedback and OSC said I was a "very good writer" but I finally realized what I was lacking. Which is just completely wonderful, of course. It just sucked in the moment of revelation. The coolest part is that now I'm empowered. I see where I need to work and I have the tools now to head to that "next level."
Let's hope I can get there.
