Eyebrow raising lines in a book, your book, anyone's book!!!

I thought it would be fun to share a few lines from one of your stories, or if you're a reader, from a book you've read,. The only qualifier is that the lines must have either made your eyebrows disappear when you read them, or you wrote those lines for the kind of response in your reader that would make their brows disappear into their hairlines. Sound like fun? Let's play! I'll start...

These lines come from my yet-to-be-published novel titled The Anatomy of Temptation.

But I did it.
God help me, I did.
And it was wonderful, and sinful, and I hated myself for it.

Okay, here's another from my WIP.

Dani(Elle other nickname) dived for the gun, picked it up
and aimed it at Trevor’s chest when he was about to go after her again. “You don’t ever get to lay a hand on me again.” She informed him, her voice wavering a little as he stalked towards her.

“You’re not going to shoot me, Elle.
You don’t have it in you.” Trevor said as he kept moving towards her.

“You have no clue what I am capable of.” Dani
ground out “I’ve already survived you, you smug prig. The question is will you survive me?” Her anger boiling inside of her now.

Here's another one of mine from, Golden:

A laugh bubbles from her throat, like the sweet note from a song. I look up in surprise. "You're not how I imagined."

I'm stumped by her leap in thought. "You imagined me?"

Her gaze follows the trail of my tattoo, down my bare torso. "Marec." And it's there again, in her voice. That vibration. It sinks into my chest and makes it hard to swallow. Hard to think straight. "You have certain skills, I'm told."

I clear my throat. "I kill." My talent. Death. Sure, I'm a genius.

Okay, I'm game. Here are a couple lines from my WIP.

He straddled over her, wrapping his arms around her uncovered waist. Just as
he was about to pick her up, he stopped. "Freckles, you are a very bad girl."

"Wh, what?"

"You're wearing black panties. A woman only wears black panties if she
wants them to be seen." He lifted her up, slowly rolling her over onto her back, and kneeled over her, looking down into her mesmerizing pacific blue eyes.

Here's another.

She laughed. After kissing him one more time, she asked, "Can I get you anything to eat?"

"What's on the menu? You?"
