Hey Susan, I just wanted to tell you I'm reading the book "Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict" and wonder if you've read it. A modern LA woman finds herself somehow transported into Regency England, chamber pots and all. Funny read. It's scary how well I can relate to the protag. Bet you can too. Written by Laurie Viera Rigler.

Hi Susan,

Please visit Stepping Stones Magazine for Writers. I have a feature page entitled 'Promote Our Genre' that is for the promotion of authors who write historical fiction in locations other than America. You'd fit right in!

I don't know if it's still around, but I used to hang out at a huge JA fansite called the Republic of Pemberley

and had a blast discussing all things Jane. It's huge! Do you know it?

Thanks for not bashing me, I guess. I had to come over and mention that JA is my hero, and Persuasion is my favorite. Make that Favourite. I love it to pieces. Love the film version too, gotta love ciaran hinds. My current heroine is a little like Anne Elliot, in that her strengths of character are not seen as strengths but weaknesses, at first.

I don't read much historical outside of Austen but I'd love to read yours.

Good luck!

Back in the saddle

I've had a couple of weeks to rest and recreate after finishing the ms for FYA. Okay, that done, I see that going with the poll, I will be writing another Anne and Frederick novel. Though, I've not heard from Pamela, so she may not want to publish another. Doubtful, but this is the world in which we live.

There is a significant portion of the respondents who want to see other Persuasion characters as well. A combo plate may be in order.

I'm thinking A and F wind up in Shropshi… Continue
