I like the idea of your "Dangerous Fashion." I wonder if women of Elizabeth's time knew what the lead make-up did, would they continue to wear it? Some would, just as many women go through dangerous plastic surgery, bulimia and anorexia, and impossible diets to create their own dangerous look.
