I write Supernatural/Paranormal Romance under the pen name Lynn Rush. I have been married to my soul mate, Charlie, for 13 years now. We’re sports junkies and spend most of our time on our road bikes. We’re very active in our mega church, Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV) and have a blast in our neighborhood ministry groups.
I belong to American Fiction Christian Writers (ACFW), its local group Christian Writers of the West (CWOW) and Romance Writers of America (RWA).
I'll join you in prayer on the agent and Harper Collins. That must really be exciting.
Really, at this point, all of my writing is done on my blog, and that ranges from devotional type stuff, to really mundane stuff, and I've been participating in Fiction Friday with my FaithWriters Challenge entry's.
Since meeting with you all, I've joined ACFW and really have begun checking out a lot of Author's blogs - there is a wealth of wisdom, information and tips for the newbie.
Jeff and I are sort of fasting TV right now, for 40 days, for God's direction in a few things, one of which is my writing. I don't want to put off my writing indefinately, while pursuing "just a little more education," but I also certainly don't want to move before getting some direction from the Lord. I know He's been preparing me, but I don't want to go out ahead of him either. KWIM?
I'm so glad we connected! This will be fun. I think I have a Facebook page, but haven't figured it out yet. Another project for another day, I suppose. Blessings to you!
Yeah, now we're friends! I really hope to get more active in the couple of sites I belong to now. How have you been doing? I'm well and have been fairly obsessed with writing. On Saturday, Nov. 15th, I'm taking some time to "brainstorm" ideas for writing a book . You girls have already motivated me. How is your journey going?
It makes sense, for one thing. I'm still having trouble figuring out all the stuff with facebook, especially the page vs. profile thing. Also, everyone on here has something in common- writing, whereas facebook is totally random.
