Yay! A reader!
Let me know how things go with your vikings. I'll definitely read that one when it comes out. And, well, it just wouldn't be right for me to close out this message with out giving a shout out for Gallimore's sequel. I mean...come on...you can't just leave Colwyn at the mercy of his creepy, icky brother. (Hehe. Sorry, I just can't help myself.) You really have great characters in that book! Which is why I keep bugging you -- wanna see more of them.
After emailing back and forth with some of their authors I decided in the affirmative. The authors seemed very happy with their experience there. The company is less than a year old so it's currently electronic format only, but there are plans in the works into expand into print. I won't lie, "plans" makes me a bit nervous, but after a lot of prayer I felt like it was the right move. We shall see. Book comes out in May.
THANK YOU, as I'm having another freak-out moment this morning. I don't trust myself to make these decisions at all. I'm rather hoping that God shoves me in the right direction, leaving no room for misinterpretation--which seems to be a specialty of mine. (I learn by doing. I just do everything wrong first, most of the time.) I wouldn't consider this small press if they didn't intend to go into print. But, at the same time, "intentions" are a really big risk to count on. They have some successful authors with them, but those authors also have other books in print, and this would be my debut. Bleh! Pardon me while I throw-up.
Hey Michelle,
I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed your book. We went up to a cabin this past weekend and I read it in two days. Any sequels planned? Cos I'd really like to know if what Jess thinks happened to Colwyn is what actually happened. I hope not.

you stalking me? I should be so lucky. Good to see you here. Although I have to say, I rarely visit this group. Between shoutlife and Facebook, I'm already overwhelmed. Have a blessed day!
I had been looking for one more book to add to my Christmas gift order, and saw Michelle's wow review at ShoutLife, so I added Gallimore. I just opened the package when I got home from visiting friends an hour ago, and am sitting here, staring at the cover! I'm excited to read it,

Michelle's been writing since she first discovered Crayolas and blank wall space. She seeks to glorify God in all that she writes...except for that graffiti phase she went through as a teenager. The medium of fiction allows a safe environment to explore the sometimes harsh what-ifs and how-comes of life against the unchanging and all-powerful backdrop of God's Word.
