Hey Merrie, if you love Speculative fiction check out the Christian Fiction Review blog. They tour a book once a month. http://cfrblog.blogspot.com/ They are touring this week in fact. They do not tour only spec but other genres as well. A good place to tour your book when you get to that point.
Want to write a guest column called For Writers Only? It's about the biz. Maybe you could write about how to make money as a writer while you're waiting for that elusive big contract with a Cristian publishing house. Interested?
Jay,
Thanks so much for reminding me that God is in control of my writing. I sincerely appreciate your prayer. Blessings on your writing, too, always and forever--
My Friend,
May God shine his GLORY upon you. and through you, and brighten your day. Please take a moment now to give thanks for what you cherish most in your life. Recognize also, the other gifts he has bestowed upon you. Have a wonderful day.
I'm a writer-slash-editor, heavy on the slash. (Just a little edgy Christian humor there.)
Any day of the week, you'll find me sitting behind an oversized desk, playing the role of magazine editor, pulling together another issue of Victorian Homes magazine. Any night of the week, you'll find me staring at my computer with glassy eyes, trying to figure out how to torture my characters just enough to keep the reader interested. Those pesky readers. They prefer to sit on the edge of the seat, so I vote we just give them all uncomfortable chairs.
