My Friend,
May God shine his GLORY upon you. and through you, and brighten your day. Please take a moment now to give thanks for what you cherish most in your life. Recognize also, the other gifts he has bestowed upon you. Have a wonderful day.

The transition was intentionally noticeable because at the church her life shattered into a million pieces. It's a strong them in the story so I wanted to give that nonverbal message. Something bad happens at the church.

Yeah, I wrote a lot in high school and some in college, but basically quit when a professor told me I should really try something else. After immersing myself in my career, then little kids and, now that the kids are getting bigger, my love of writing has resurfaced. I guess it's in my blood. Gotta keep on keepin' on, as they say!

What about the church section distracted you. I'm going to shorten the words to say One night everything changed. And I'm going to slow the screen credits at the end. I'm an amateur (I'm sure you could tell.)

Boy does that sound familiar! :-)

About Me:
M. Lawrence wrote his first novella when he was 13 and living in the African bush with nothing better to do. He quickly realized he was born to be a writer, though it took another twenty years for that to sink in. In the meantime, he gained lots of life experience by working as an advertising salesman, a computer network administrator, and a bookstore clerk. He finally decided he liked living overseas better, and moved to the Middle East to teach English, where he resides today with his family. When he’s not hanging out in cafes talking in Arabic with his friends and playing cards, he writes short stories.
