Hey, just to let you know, the Diner is taking submissions again. Just pop on over to the relief Journal (Mike has the link up top) and you should be able to get it figured out from there. Happy writing!

Thanks for the kind words, Kat. You know, I've never read The Last Days, meant to, but I will certainly check it out. Let us know what you think about the rest of the Diner. I did a substitute teaching gig the last week of school in a high lit clas…

Rachel, you'd do that? That's so nice of you! Thank you! Yes, please, go ahead and post. Later today I'll send 'tails' an email and let him know when to take a look. I suspect he'll be quite excited. Thanks again!...Oh, on his original e-mail he wa…

They're always worried about offending the gate-keepers. Sorry about the rejection! I really think it's sad that all we hear them talking about are Amish books. Good Lord, the market is so saturated right now. It'd be like the ABA guys saying: More…

well, I've got to admit, I did think it might look tacky having a review which was kind towards me posted by me... So you think with the added explanation it would be okay, then?

It's hard to find a publisher to take sensual stuff. Even if it has a great message.

Yeah! I'm violinist...violin fanatic in my spare time,,,so I thought I'd write this story that would basically explain why the fiddle is the devils chosen instrument. LOL! Two things...if you don't mind readin...jsut to check the believability facto…

Gotta admit...it's different, but sounds fun. Except, how are you going to get calling the holy spirit a girl past a CBA publisher?

Hey there MLArcher... There's no reason why you can't be a good Christian and still love and write horror. It just depends on the type of horror you're writing. Keep in mind. You can't have light without dark, good without evil. If we were to all stop reading books with violence, blood, guts, demons, sin and whoredoms, then we'd all have to stop reading the Bible.

Intriguing story! Until recently, I thought maybe I was the only outcast! But I"m learning there are others out there like me with a taste for the unusual. :-)

Sounds like you've got a hit on your hands my friend. I mean...the whole "sex sales" thing is SO overrated. No one even cares about sex anymore. ;)

About Me:
Before I became a Christian I was on my way to having decent career as a horror writer. Then I decided I needed to straighten up, fly right and tell stories only a CBA mother could love. Since then, I've decided I do better as a Christian who writers fiction than as a writer who writes Christian fiction.
It's all very confusing, you see...

Anyway, altogether, I've published fifteen short stories, 3 articles and one poem. One whole entire poem. Still trying to get my first novel, The Mysterious Calling of Mike Malone, published. Bite...grrr....

My avatar is an artists rendition of Mike by E. J. Mickels III. I just think he did a cool job.

The Mysterious Calling of Mike Malone

It's chapter one, it's YA, and no, it's not a 'Christian' novel. My aim is for to be a good novel. Any opinions?

Mike Malone took a seat at the heavy black table in the back of O’Brien’s Irish Pub.

Today marked his twenty-first birthday, and, so far, it really sucked. Then, to top it all off, he saw his father; this wouldn’t have been so startling, except his father died fifteen years earlier.

Heart still racing, he replayed the incident over and over in his head.

…I walk down the street…M… Continue

The Horrible Curse of Henrietta Pluto

Sigh...I know, I wrote it, but is there a market for stuff like this anywhere in modern Christendom?

The Horrible Curse of Henrietta Pluto

Who would have the the end of the world would be brought about by a very spoiled girl and well, a twit.

Henrietta Pluto stomped through the door of the toy store.

“I don’t want to go home!” she cried, her dark curls whipping back and forth.

Henrietta’s mother clamped a hand… Continue
