Thanks for accepting the invite. I am blessed. Especially to run book clubs through my store and do author interviews. Check out a fun interview I just posted with Angela Hunt. www.psalm516.blogspot.com You won't be sorry.

I'm excited to share with you the news about a new Christian publisher which only deals with speculative fiction: spiritual warfare,near-future techno-thrillers, supernatural thrillers, chillers, Christian fantasy, science-fiction, alternate history, and superhero fiction. Check out MARCHER LORD PRESS and its sister site Where The Map Ends. If I can figure out how to put this announcement on the main page, I'll do it. I'm in no way affiliated with MLP, but I think it's exciting that there's a new publisher around who will likely take the kind of writing we all love to do.

Hello and blessings to all! I'm recovering from my second surgery - a complete shoulder replacement. In the meantime, I've been reading many, many, fiction and non-fiction books and have learned so much about other authors, writing, and God. I've started keeping up my regular blog again, and have posted an author interview with TRISH PERRY, whose new release THE BEACH HOUSE is just out. This is inspirational chick-lit, so it may not appeal to you hard-core mystery/suspense writers, , but I'd appreciate it if you could support a fellow Christian writer and check it out. :) It's a light, summer read about the struggles of the early days of becoming a Christian, and what happens with Christian friends, and non-Christian friends end up double booked at a San Diego beach house.

My regular blog is http://www.writingontheedge.blogspot.com
as above. Thanks!

Hi Laurie,

I'm sorry to read about your shoulder. I hope your surgery goes well and you heal quickly!

Thanks for befriending me and checking out my website. I'm so glad you enjoy Roman set stories. :-) My editor is Melissa Endlich. She's been a dream to work with and she's currently looking at a manuscript of mine set at the end of the American Revolution. Right now I'm working on a sequel to my Roman story.

I've heard Melissa is looking for Medievals. I know the first LIH was a Medieval call The Briton. LIH has been really good about exploring all sorts of different time periods. I think mine is the only Roman set story so far, but they've have stories set in the Old West, WW 2, Medieval, etc.

Best of luck and happy reading!

Hi Laurie. I'm with Cold Tree/Hooded Friar Presses. Cold Tree published Time Masters and it will actually re-release in the fall under their new traditional imprint. Time Masters Book two will release under Hooded Friar Press Cold Tree's sister company, also a traditional press but they do far bigger print runs.

Blog Tour and Book Review

I'm participating in a Blog Tour and have posted a Book Review of GENERATION HEX: The Subtle Dangers of Wicca, by Dillon Burroughs and Marla Alupoaicei. It's a Christian book on the beliefs of Wicca, in order to educate parents so they can be aware of what their teens might be experimenting with at school or elsewhere. It's informative, a fast read, and talks about how Christians can best approach Wiccan believers if they meet them. I highly recommend it. Plse visit my blog at http://www.writing… Continue

Announcing a New Christian Publisher!

Check my blog on this group for info on MARCHER LORD PRESS or http://www.marcherlordpress.com. The publisher's looking for the kind of thing we edgey writers love to write: speculative fiction, Christian fantasy/science-fiction, near-future techno-thrillers, supernatural thrillers, spiritual warfare, alternate history, superhero fiction. I think this is a wonderful opportunity for those in the group who've been looking for this type of publisher to get published and kick-start their careers. I'm… Continue
