I think you can have some action packed scenes when they run for cover in the bombings. Your book sounds interesting. Blessings on it.

I agree and thanks for the opinions. I will try to make it a point to remember to add action :) My book is during WW2 and love interest is fighting on the front, but to be realistic, he can't send graphic letters home of his experiences. he had to...

About Me:
I write stories that always involve some element of the past and of finding home. I was born in central Indiana, the daughter of Mennonite farmers. I graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Germanic languages and was an associate editor with Abingdon Pres for twelve years.

One Holy Night, my contemporary women's fiction novel set during the Vietnam War will release in April 2008. I have also published two historical novels set during the American Revolutionary War-- Daughter of Liberty and Native Son, books 1 and 2 of the American Patriot Series. Book 3, Wind of the Spirit, is scheduled for release in January 2009.

I am a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, Christian Authors Network, and Middle Tennessee Christian Writers.

Here's Another One

“The passion and intrigue of the American Revolution comes to life in J. M. Hochstetler’s wonderfully entertaining read Wind of the Spirit. Beautifully written and completely engaging, Wind of the Spirit will appeal to fans not just of Christian fiction, but of historical fiction as well. Not to be missed!”
—Michelle Moran, national bestselling author of The Heretic Queen

Ah, Progress!

Have you ever felt like Sisyphus? Condemned to endlessly pushing that huge rock uphill until you get to the top...where it rolls back down? But at least things are moving forward! It's also available for pre-order at Barnes and Noble.com, which incorrectly lists it as pubbing April 28. Target.com also has it, and you can also order through Borders.com, which lin… Continue

Hi Joan,

Actually we did meet sometime last year online. I bought your books. Loved Daughter of Liberty and mean to read the sequel.

Thanks for the kind words about Stepping Stones. Maybe sometime I can do an interview with you. . .June? July?
