Hi Susan,
This is great encouragement to me. My grandmother wrote her life story at my sister's insistence. As a gift to Grandmother Bell, I typed it, copied it, and bound it for family members. I've considered rewriting it in third person from her…
Thanks for sharing your story with me. Always comforting to know I'm not alone.
Good luck with your rewrite.

About Me:
My story, "Romeow & JuliCat," has been accepted by "Chicken Soup for the Soul - Lessons Learned from the Cat." Look for the book in stores Sept. 22, 2009.
I've been writing since pre-high school days, but only recently decided to take it seriously. My novel, "Obedient Heart" is edited, re-edited, rewritten, and now going through another revision. I have a personal testimony story, "Thy Will Be Done" published in the compilation book, "God's Handprints." Other than that, the only other items I've had published are letters to the editor of the Tampa Tribune. They always publish my letters, with the exception of one I submitted for the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. The editor honored my last letter with "Letter of the Day" status.
I'm new to blogs and other technologically-challenging venues, but look forward to learning about all the new gadgets at our fingertips to market our work.
My husband and I are both Realtors living in Tampa with our two cats. I also have a "day job" (necessary with the recent downward spiral of the market) working with a State of Florida Law Office. We handle the appeals of death-row inmates. It's fascinating work!
So, between real estate, the day job, and my writing, I'm one very busy lady!
