I'm Jacki McGuyer. I'm a writer, but I like to think of myself as an author now that I can hold my first novel, Blood Secrets, in my hands. After spending ten years in Vail Colorado, the inspiration for Blood Secrets, my husband Pat and I moved back to our home state of Texas where we refurbished a 1928 gas station into a coffeehouse. That great place, and the super people we met there, became the inspiration for my second novel, The Java Pump; release date--October this year..
I am a wife, a mother of four, grandmother of nine. I have a dog that loves me no matter what I do or say—or what I look like. I have a God who loves me in exactly the same way. Amazing.
I write for a little Texas hill-country newspaper, a newsletter for our church and articles for the web. With every book I write, it is my ambition to grow and be faithful to my readers. I aspire to give them an entertaining story that will dazzle and provide honest and thoughtful information to keep them coming back for more. Above all, I am a Christian writer, and my faith guides my pen.
LOL...Hey Jacki. I WISH I made my name up...LOL Believe it or not I made the choice to join the Marine Corps back in '88. How fun was that???...UGH. I have eight family members who were/are police officers so it was a pretty easy choice for me. I still can't get food delivered to my house because no one believes I'm Rambo!!!....lol Keep in touch.
Jacki,
I've already seen tons of people I admire greatly--including an agent I sent a proposal to. I'm looking forward to working with like minded Christians.
Love ya.
Hi, Jacki, I'm a lost goose. Can't find my way around here. Glad you found me. I saw your article the first time I went to this site via your link and can't find it again. I'm a mess when it comes to computers.

Thanks for the invitation! I'm still finding my way around the network sites, so it's good to see there are other newbies stopping by.
