I went after Richard Dawkins in my fiction book dealing with the evolution debate- All the Voices of the Wind nearly two years ago. He's a real work.

It's the double standard that bugs me. If a Christian were to name-call like Dawkins did in The God Delusion, that Christian would be called "intolerant" and be accused of verbally "attacking" evolutionists. And evolution is constantly spoken of ...

I finally saw "Expelled". What scared me wasn't what Richard Dawkins said so much as the reality that people looking at God as the Creator are being silenced, or even those who refuse to accept the "norm" for what the people at the top want them t...

Richard Dawkins is a topic I can talk about for hours--the same way one can rant about idiot drivers. He uses no actual science in his theorizing. I love dismantling his statements, but of course, I'm not going to take up this comment page doing s...

Great site! I'd like to help promote your book when it is released. I have at least one other way to draw attention to it as well. Will cost you nothing and you might just have a blast doing it! We should chat!
See ya!

JC, I love your website! And I agree wholeheartedly with your phlosphies on writing. It's an obsession, for sure. I remember thinking I'd gone stark raving mad when I took on writing. I mean, it did seem appropriarte because I've always been artistic and , yes, weird. Fantasy freak, feeling like I belonged in another world. That's of course what spawned the plot of my book.

I love that you call your home your "lair." I feel that way, too. The sun can actually hurt sometimes when I haven't seen it for days, cloistered away, writing, homeschooling, reading. Then I force myself to take the dog for a walk, rejuice, talk with God, and come home ready to take on the next chapter.

And I, too, hated the idea of marketing. I just told a friend recently that I had imagined myself being a writer who lives like a hermit, and people think "how appropriate" for me to be eccentric because I'm "a writer" and writers are supposed to be weird and reclusive. But, now that I'm blogging (hate that word) I'm finding it fun. If nothing else, it's giving me a place to vent, and I'm learning. I'm always happy when I'm learning, even if it is (bleh) marketing.

I hope you find a publisher soon. It sounds like you've put your whole heart and soul into your trilogy (have you written all three yet, or just the first one?) and I this world needs more fantasy books! There are never, ever enough....

Hi JC,

Church planting is a lot like missions, only indigenous. I do what's called "Tent-making" for support - which means I work a regular job and work the church in my spare time. We've been at it for about two years now. The hard part is gathering a core of people to work with.
