Let's unite to fight those urges to snack while writing or reading edgy fiction. What say you? Let's encourage each other with ideas and support to lose those extra pounds and fight those ginormous snack-attack-monsters.
YES! I know where Kremmling is! I'm a Colo. native... grew up in Glenwood Springs, have family in Walden (another one of "those" little towns) and have been in Meeker for the past 11 years. It's 48 miles to Craig (Wal-Mart, Starbucks) and 41 miles to Rifle, and 100 miles to GJ, which is our nearest Home Depot! That's why I had to ask! It's interesting how those distances are so similar! Did you head to the eastern slope, or out of state?
I've just posted a fun interview of Michelle Sutton to my blog. You will learn some interesting things you never new. Check it out! www.psalm516.blogspot.com
We sure do go back a ways, Shar. As for celebrating my book... Uh yeah. hehehe. Actually, I've gone through a gamut of emotions. The first day, I did a little bit of everything. Then yesterday, as I sat watching my husband read my story, I fought tears the whole time. I read a true story about something Beth Moore had gone through, and because of that story, I realized that God cares about every minute aspect of life. If anyone wants to read the story I'm referring to, just let me know and I'll post it here. That is if it will let me post that big of a message. *smiling*
Thanks, Sharleen for the congrats. Luv ya bunches!
Wow... so that's why the headache's. Sorry to hear that. Hope you get to feeling better realy soon. You take care. To quote my friend, Jeanne... I luv ya high as the sky.
Romantic suspense, strong on the romance. I love contemporary & historical Christian romance too.
About Me:
Until a year ago, my husband of thirty-three plus years and I lived and worked on cow calf ranches in the mountains of Colorado. I have one daughter, who recently got married on 7/7/07 in Las Vegas. I am a huge fanatic of classic cars, mud-bog racing, monster trucks, hot rods, and mean-looking trucks. Give me a Manx cat and I'm a happy camper. Just ask my cat, Tickles. At one time I had three Manx's. Boy, howdy, was that a riot. I love to read strong Christian romance. I draw western art. And, last but definitely not least, my first novel, THE BRIDE WORE COVERALLS, is coming out in March 2008 through Heartsong Presents.
