We want to be safe and secure in our own little world away from all the bad people, and that is what the majority of Christian fiction is – Christian escapism, a fantasy usually set in the distant past before the moral standards of this world became…
ROTFLOL! This was funny. Really challenges the imgination. I think I've been doing something similar in my novels, for instance:
Instead of saying, "Damn it!" I say, "Curses!"
Instead of calling a woman her canine equivalent (the "B" word), I've fo…

My Friend,
May God shine his GLORY upon you. and through you, and brighten your day. Please take a moment now to give thanks for what you cherish most in your life. Recognize also, the other gifts he has bestowed upon you. Have a wonderful day.
Wow....how kewl that you were born and raised in Bermuda. However did you find the ACFW? Uh, duh, never mind... the Internet of course. hehe
Yeah, all towns have there likes and dislikes. A little over a year ago I moved from a really small town in the Colorado Rocky Mountains down to the flatlands. Talk about cultural whiplash! Going from living on a ranch way out of town, to living in town where there are people instead of cows, horses, racoons, gophers, hummingbirds, badgers, mountain lions, bears...well you get the idea. Sometimes I miss it, and sometimes I'm SO glad I no longer live there. I hated driving 48 miles to get groceries every two weeks. Especially in the winter when it was blizzarding. Yikes!
Have a great weekend!
Debra
Hi Cathy, Thanks for adding me to your friend's list. I'm so jealous that you live in Bermuda. Were you born and raised there? If not, how did you end up in Bermuda?
I'm Cath, I live in Bermuda, and I'm a writer. My prayer is that 2008 is the year I finally get published, but we'll see what God's plan is. I love to write, and I love to fellowship with those who share my passion.
