- My name is Lauryn. I am a SAHM and aspiring writer. I am incredibly blessed to be married to my best friend. We have a beautiful baby girl. Sweet Pea is a year old and the joy of our lives. In addition, we have 3 feline family members, who keep us very entertained.
I love reading and writing, watching movies, rainy days, animals, the beach, the Great American West, chocolate and a vast array of music! Writing publicly is rather new to me, but I'm really enjoying it and am delighted to grow in this area and develop as a writer.
I've been saved for 10 years and have always been involved in ministry of some sort or another. At this time I'm taking a bit of a break from that. I'm taking time to simply enjoy my daughter and my new role as a mommy. This really is the time of my life!

Writing is going well. .. My meeting with HarperCollins actually went better than expected, so I'm talking with an agent who is looking at my work a little closer since.....so I pray something will come of it. So we'll see what happens. How's your writing coming??

We have some things in common. I married my best friend and high school sweetheart. We've been married 30 years. My children are older, but were a pair of sweet peas, or you could say peas in a pod, when they were little boys. I can't call them that any more, especially in front of their friends. I used to call them 'sugar beets', too.
We have a very spoiled cat named Pookie.
Enjoy your time with Sweet Pea. She will grow up fast and these are precious days. Hope to hear more about your writing.
