I did not get to read Hollywood Nobody, but I read Finding Hollywood Nobody and if any of you have teens who love to read I would sugest this book. It was quirky and fun and I can't wait to read the next one.

I loved it! I couldn't put it down. I ended up reading it in a day. And even found a way to continue reading it while doing laundry. :) I haven't enjoyed a book that much in a long time. I'm looking forward to reading Julie's next book.

I just picked up A Passion Most Pure today and am looking forward to reading it. I've heard great things about it. From what I've heard I won't be doing anything else until I finish. That's my kind of a book. :)

I am reading a Evidence Not Seen by Darlene Deibler Rose and Humility by Andrew Murray.
Evidence Not Seen if the true story of a missionary taken captive by the Japaneese when she was on the island of New Guinea during the early 40's.

I just finished On Sparrow Hill by Maureen Lang. I'll post a review on The Christian Pulse. Now I'm reading the Shack - the book taking America by storm.

I did love a Passion most Pure (as Julie knows)

I have just finised Trouble the water by Nicole Seitz. This was interesting as it does deal with sisterhood and the final stages of a terminal illness. what may not have been the best was i was reading it when mum went into hospital and we didn't know what was wrong or if it was the beginning of the end for her. (scan was clear so we are praying its the effects of over 27 years on one blood pressure tablet) so reading about the final stages of death was confronting but also encouraging to a degree. I did enjoy reading this book and it had me laughing and crying, but i wouldn't recomend reading if you are in the same situation right at this moment as it may be a bit close to home for some. but the way it was writen was well done after sorting out the pov.

Well, I am one of the lucky ones (like Trish and Stormi) that have had the opportunity to read Michelle's book, It's Not About Me, and loved it!! Here's my review:

Finally! In an amoral society that pushes young people to the edge, we have an “edgy” novel that pushes right back! Kudos to Michelle Sutton for her debut novel, It’s Not About Me, which confronts real problems encountered by real youth—sexual pressure, drinking, pornography—and counters them with a message of hope and faith that is so vital for today’s young adults.

This compelling story gives a rare and honest glimpse into the “perfect” life of Annie Meyers, a young woman on the threshold of college and marriage. When her fiancé Tony begins to pressure her sexually, Annie’s faith and confidence begin to teeter, but when tragedy strikes, both crash headlong into a black hole of self-doubt and confusion. Unable to cope with Annie’s disaster, Tony seeks comfort in alcohol, leaving his older brother Dan to provide Annie with the spiritual and emotional support she so desperately needs. Out of the ashes of Annie’s misfortune, rises a love triangle that will have readers turning the pages long into the night. Michelle Sutton has crafted a story of passion, betrayal, hope and redemption that is right on target for the Young Adult market and beyond. Can’t wait for the next one!
