Oh my goodness, I thought I was the only one who typed and crunched and typed and munched. I feel better just knowing I'm not alone!

Hey Keith! I didn't mean I do not munch or imply to stop munching. By all means munch on the healthy stuff! And always combine your complex carbo munchies, (fruits, veggies and grains) with protein or protein/fats (meats, lowfat cheeses, yogurts, nuts) to balance blood sugars and stop simple carbohydrate cravings. You're on the right track there brother! Way to go with the weight loss!

Tell me if I'm wrong, but munching all day on really healthy, low carb snacks, such as nuts, broccoli, and celery, and drinking lots of water, would actually be far better for you than not munching and most of us would even start losing more weight. I've been on a low carb diet for a couple months now and I have lost 20 pounds (from 260 to 240) and my blood sugar (I'm diabetic) has never been better controlled. I snack pretty much all day long as mentioned above. I drink water and sneak in a diet soda rarely. I recently figured I'd try some SF candy. Bad idea! lol (see earlier post.) Anyways. I think stopping the munching is not really the right approach. Changing what you're munching on is.

Ok gang, I do this for a day job and have been for over seventeen years. That would be helping the munchers to de-munch! Not munching for seventeen plus years myself!!!!! Do I have ideas and tips for you! Just ask!

This is the perfect group for me... lol! I can tell you all one thing NEVER to do. Don't munch on sugar free candy all day. I did that today and oh my... When the package reads, "consuming this product my have a laxative effect" believe it.!!! lol =)

Oh man do I need this group! Sometimes I have to leave the house and go to the library or coffee shop just to get away from FOOD! Especially if it's a hard dayof wirting. That scene you can't get right or story that's gone lukewarm. Munchies always fill the gap.
