Edgy Christian Fiction Lovers

Readers and authors sharing great edgy fiction that inspires...

Well, I just got back from Mt. Hermon and one of the things I was told to do, was to find a native born Englishman (better yet, woman) to read my novel. My MC is a woman of royalty from London.

So, do you know any one who would be willing to read my novel for a Starbucks card or a free book,. No need to critique beyond making sure the POV and dialogue is real to the character?

Thanks, Kimberlee

Hi, Kimberlee,
I was born and raised in Bermuda, which is a British colony. I spent several years in England and do consider myself well-versed in the Queen's English.
As long as you're not asking for clarification on dialects in various area's, I should be fine.
I'd be happy to give it a read.

Thanks, Cathy. I think I may have already found someone yesterday. But if that doesn't work out, I'd love to call on you. Thank you again for your response.

Kim, you might also rent movies like THE QUEEN starring Helen Mirren to get that style of speech in your head.

Thanks. Yeah, I've been watching English movies and surf movies (the hero) like crazy. Four Weddings & Funeral as well as the Holiday were good for this. :)
